DeanCas Coda to 13x01: Lost and Found
Dean has a headache the size of Texas. He groans in sleep, eyelids tacky from crying as he arches his back on memory foam. His body is achy and sore and complains in gurgles as last night’s whiskey continues to slosh around his stomach. His knuckles hurt something awful.
Squeezing his eyes shut, Dean buries his face in his pillow, arms flopping out to accidentally push an empty bottle of Jack onto the floor. It shatters. Fuck. Fuck. Dean’s throat closes up and his eyes burn and he has trouble breathing.
“Dean?”
Dean freezes.
Fingers tentatively brush his clothed shoulder, tracing the line of his stubbled jaw. He doesn’t dare breathe.
